Christmas Duck

I made duck a l' orange for Christmas dinner. I nice wild mallard I shot the other day. It turned out great! Tender and not gamey like some other ducks I've cooked. Perfect for a Christmas feast.

Looks great!! I love duck done right, used to be a restaurant up home that specialized in duck, raised their own right at the farm.

I have been trying to get Tony to take up duck hunting. He isn't truly interested yet. Yet, cause I keep trying to tell him to get into it..LOL

For me I trade our pork for duck at the market I sell. There are a few duck owners that sell and when I can I get a nice duck.

I kinda want to raise ducks to eat, but I am so overloaded with work that taking on "anything else, even a quacker" is no at this point..LOL
