Anyone know where I can find one of these? It's an over/under rifle in .223/12ga. or 30.06/20ga. and others. Thanks in advance for your help.

You can buy a used Valmet 412 in .223/12ga. or 30-06/12ga. (or several other combo's) and it's one heck of a lot better gun than the Savage, for not much more money. The Valmet lets you buy many bbls of all kinds, like O/U 12 or 20 guage, and all the bbls will go on the 412 action.

I see them used for around $550.00 on up, and if you look real hard, you "may" even find one new in the box. :)

Just keep looking around at all the gun shops in your area and tell the owners your looking for one. Besides that you could get your local dealer to have the firearm transfered to the shop if you buy it off gunbroker. There is some Russian company that makes combo rifles?

I'm pretty fond of the Savage O/U's since a .22/410 model 24 was my first gun...42 years ago. I've still got it and it still works perfectly so I decided a .22LR or .22mag over 20 gauge would make the perfect truck gun (for me anyway). I started watching for them on Gunbroker and Auctionarms and was able to pick one up for under 300 bucks and it's every bit as handy as my old one.

There are usually quite a few for sale on those sites at any given time. Good luck on your search.
