Man, what a bummer.

Two brand new M1 Carbine mags are messing up. After about 3 shots they drop out the bottom.

I was fixing to cull 'em with a hammer before they got mixed in with the rest of the herd, but maybe they can be tweaked into reliability.

Anybody ever dealt with that problem?

Rick, Is it a GI carbine,GI mags or commercial carbine/mags? If You have other mags which work OK in the gun take a look at the top of the mags to see if the little "lip" that locks 'em in is bent or damaged or maybe missing.

If they are 30 round mags You may need an M2 mag catch which is designed for the heavier mags.

Are they USA brand mags? Or another after market? You will probably have to tweak them either way- USA brand mags I have found suck worse than others, but should be tuneable to use for practice.

If they are 30's and you don't have the M2 mag catch that is probably your problem.

Carbine mags that originate in the Phillippines are mostly worthless crap regardless of capacity.
