For those of us blessed with them we know we would never want harm to come to them but inevitable we will at times look at our significant other and say "remind me again why we had kids". This is why I had mine. The cows needed water and I didn't want to haul it 1 5 gallon bucket a time. I looked at the kids and they both said "we can't carry that much water without spilling it everywhere" which they have proved true in the past. As I was bound and determined to put them to work I decided on this.

A scoop, some snow and a tank heater. Works for me.


And yes that is the screen from the window in my warm and toasty house :D

LMAO... :) I tell mine that I am instilling work ethic into them by making them go out in the cold to collect the eggs before they freeze..... Think they are catching on to my motive of staying warm while they bundle up to brave the cold.
