Last night I got up to go to the bathroom and while I was there my dog started barking up a storm! I couldn't quiet her down no matter how I tried so when I went back into the bedroom I flipped on the light to find my phone. I intended to call 911 and ask them to send someone out to see if there was a stranger in my yard. Just as I reached for the phone I glanced out the window next to the be, where the a/c unit is, and lo and behold there on top of the a/c was the female cat that I feed outside! Talk about feeling silly, I sure did. For some reason she wanted inside and was doing her darndest to dig her way through the window. LOL I tried to shoo her off but she wouldn't go. Luckily the dog had calmed down, got on the bed and I covered her up where she couldn't see the extra cat. A couple of my inside cats got up on the inside part of the a/c unit where they could sniff her through the glass. Eventually I just gave up trying to run her off and lay down and went back to sleep. I don't know how long she stayed on the a/c but when I woke up this morning she wasn't there, she was however waiting at the front door to be fed.
What I find weird about the whole situation is that she's never tried to get in through the doorway when I open it to go out and feed her and the male I feed.
I've put away my 12 gage but am wondering if I should pull it back out, load it & put it back in the bedroom corner. Maybe she was hiding from something or someone.
