My old cat is constipationed.
What can I do to relieve her misery without
a vet bill?
Please don't suggest I give her an enema ;D

Ok, I won't suggest you give her an enema. ;)
I will however suggest you give her a glycerin suppository. That is what we gave our old dog Max. Did I enjoy doing it? NO. Did it help him? Yes. Max is part of our family and I would have done the same thing if it had been one of my kids that had been constipated.
Since it is a cat, I do suggest that you wrap her legs in a towel before you attempt this, because she sure isn't going to like it and there is no sense in you getting scratched in the process. Just ask yourself how much you love your cat. Is she a part of your family? Would you do the same thing for one of your kids if they were suffering? Just do it and get it over with and she will feel a lot better.

thanks hill, it worked immediately. She's
staying in her litter box so not to mess
up the house. Sweet of her.
Wish me luck in giving her a bath cause
she's messy ;D

I'm glad it worked for her. I hope she didn't give you too many scratches when you gave her a bath. My cat hates a bath. ;)
