Do you have ANY idea how many pages of topics there are between now and the last time I was here!? There's no way I'm going to read all of those. I quit after the first tow pages back. So I just have a couple of quick questions.

Did Wyomyn (sp?) ever finish that place out in the bookies?

How about Jen's cabin? And did she buy that second acre/lot?

Deberosa is just too cool and determined for me not to believe II is not up and running already. I'll have to look hard for her latest.

I've seen most of the regulars are still here and still contributing.

That's about all for now. Lookin' forward to some answers.

Hey there LeatherneckPA,

Thanks for inquiring about my little cabin project. I wish I could say that it was completed but lots of things happened along the way. However, this weekend a guy that i had to pay to help me put on the decking for me finished the roof decking. That was way beyond what I could handle. I tried to get the decking on the roof but no can do...way too heavy for me. So I broke down and hired this guy to do it for me and put it past me. It felt GREAT to have cover. I need to close the lil gable ends, put soffits, install my door that i bought new several months ago, windows and what not but I can do that at my own pace. Also, i need to put the actual roofing on and im going to hopefully have it completed sometime in the next week or two. Working out in 100+ degree weather is constraining and can make u sick. So I may stay over there a coupla days to do some of the stuff i talked about in the late evening. It is 63miles away from my home in the city. Oh yeah, and yes i did get that 2nd acre next to me. Closed on it in Nov. of '08 and Im glad I got it. Got it mostly for the privacy. One acre is plenty good for me and still is i just didnt want a neighbor that close to me.

Wyomyn is no longer coming to this forum. Im not sure where he went off to but i sure do miss keepin' in touch with him. He was a neat ol' guy. Was sorry to hear when he said he was leaving. I too have often wondered how he's been doing and what he's been up to lately. He had good progress on his cabin in the wide open prairie. I'd too like to see what its turned out like. Nice im sure.

Thanks again. I sent you a PM.
