Pat Robertson is Swallowed in Freaky Micro-Earthquake
It was reported earlier today that televangelest Pat Robertson died in what scientists are calling a "Micro Earthquake." Witnesses say that "there was a rumbling and a bit of a bump, then the earth just opened up and swallowed him." There was an odd, vaporous smell of sulphur reported after the episode, and someone remarked that they thouoght they heard a faint voice jeering, "It take one to know one, mon."
No one else was injured in the earthquake, and no property was damaged beyond the few square feet of sidewalk where he was lounging. There has been some speculation that he had made his own "deal with the devil" and the contract suddenly came due when he broke the "don't tell about contracts with Satan" clause.
