After a bad experience trying to work with a used Kel-Tec's P3AT semi .380 pistol. I was told the Kel-tec was/is picky about what ammo you use it in but I had enough trying to work with the thing. I decided to trade it back in to the shop I bought it at. I got back in trade $25 less than I paid for it so. Not having a pump action shotgun , I decided to pick up a used "SpringField Savage 67-B". It takes 2-3/4 to 3" in 12 gauge. I also go a box of 00 buck and a box of slugs for it in the trade. Zombies beware! Picture of mine below.

I've never owned a Kel-Tec, I have a natural aversion to plastic guns. Everyone that I know personally who has had one ended up frustred and getiing rid of it (I'm sure there are thousands who swear by their Kel_Tec, God Bless you and good luck)

You definitely got a better deal that is a rugged well-made shotgun out of production but they were once common so there are plenty of sources for parts here are a couple

I have had horrible experiences with those old shotguns! Good luck! I have parts if you need them.

Way back in the late 60s my eldest brother bought a 16 ga at a gunshow for something like $30-35. It had a little rust on it and the stock was lightly scuffed in several spots and it was DIRTY. We stripped it and cleaned it, reblued and refinished the stock. My brother hunted squirrels, rabbits and birds for years. I borrowed it for several Quail and Dove hunts and I found it to be a fine pointing and fast-handling shotgun, it was quite lightweight compared to other pumps even the Ithaca 37.

A few years ago before he passed away, my brother passed it on to his eldest grandson who is an incredible wingshot. Keep it clean and don't abuse it and you'll enjoy it for a long time, I don't know the year of production but my brothers' was well-used when he got it and its still going well after 40 years in my family.
