Since I don't get a newspaper, does anyone have a good website to view the news? I go to Drudge Report from time to time, but would like to find some other websites. Thanks!

I have our local paper website and another newspaper as homepages. With Firefox, I can set several tabs of homepages.
I also go to Fox News for national news.

If you aren't a liberal/progressive, you might want to check out www.freerepublic.com
The site is unique in that most postings are news/articles from sources around the world. Those that can be copied completely usually are, but those with copyright restrictions are excerpted with a link to the original. If you check the site regularly, you will be 2-3 days ahead of the mainstream media on most major issues (and with greater depth and breadth), and minutes to hours ahead when disaster strikes. Two examples are the shuttle explosion and 9/11 where FR beat the media by significant margins in getting the word out.
On top of that, the original posting is discussed, often vigorously and humorously, but the purpose of this privately-owned site is to advance conservatism. Even at that, if you decide to post, expect to have your opinions challenged if they are not grounded in logic, facts, or reasonably competent observation, and doubly that if your perspective tilts leftward.
Be warned: it is addictive.

In addition to many of the ones listed by others here, I like www.news.myway.com because it's all text and loads very fast on dial-up.
I think it's important to read news from other countries, and in particular for mid-east events I like www.jpost.com which is The Jerusalem Post, and www.haaretz.com and www.timesonline.co.uk and www.telegraph.co.uk for English/UK news.
I like reading papers from other countries because you always see reports that are very important to the U.S., but don't make it to news sites here, even the big ones like Fox, Drudge or Bretibart.
