i was standing at the end of a friends driveway two days ago when a car pulled up behind me.. i recognized the coulple in the car as neighbors down the road from me..
i asked what can i help you withtoday
they asked me if i wanted some pygmy goats they were getting rid of two nannies and two wethers,, i said you're getting rid of them? they said yeah they keep us from traveling we are tied to the cabin and cant go anywhere cause nobody home to feed them so we dont want them anymore.. so i said sure
then they said you wouldnt be interested in some laying hens would ya?
doh???
10 layers havent seen them yet but will go peek in on the critters and their set up this week,, cant wait,,and here i was hoping i 'd be able to get my hands on some this year...who knew....?
