Hi ya'll,
I've canned all our meat in cubes, or 1in strips or ground. (beef & pork) My question is can you do any other size or shape? I did 2 jars of two pork chops per pint (3/4 in thick) this time. Will that be alright? I would like to do different sizes or cuts if I can. All of it looks the same. What do ya'll do?
Thanks,
sissy

You can cut the meat in 1-1/2" wide strips as long as your jar, and put them in the jars standing up...

As long as it fits in the jar it doesn't matter. Many people cut their meat into one piece that fits right into a wide-mouth jar.
