Has anyone heard from Bob this year. I enjoy his post and pictures, and wondering if everything is alright.

I just checked and his last post was Dec 29,2008.
His location states " Inland Empire." Does any one know what state he is in?

I have heard of Riverside and San Bernadino counties of southern California called "Inland Empire".

Buster,
After reading your post, I went to the Members section and looked up Backwoods Bob. Wow. I see why you wanted to read all of his stuff! He's got some good stuff in there! But unfortunately, 82 of his posts are all that are left on the server.

This happens (I'm pretty sure) when our server goes down and we can't restore everything. It doesn't happen too often, and hasn't for a long time. But we've lost lots of good older posts from it.

And I also wonder why he hasn't posted for so long. His home email address is on the membership page, though - so you could drop him a note and let him know he's missed here!

The Inland Empire is in So. Califrnia, but east of Los Angeles.

Spokane, Washington and Northern Idaho are also called The Inland Empire.
There is a Backwoods Bob with a blog in Idaho.
Maybe the same guy.

I live in Wrightwood and know of the Inland Empire of So. Cal. I wasn't sure how much of The United States also had an Inlnd Empire.

In the post I read, he talks about using an outhouse, I hope he didn't fall in. :-X

Awww guys, I'm touched! I had no idea I would be missed!

I'm fine and life is good. I've just been busy. My only internet access is when I'm goofing off at work....Like now....Shhhh, don't tell my Boss. :o

Yeah, I'm in Stevens County, Washington. The Spokane area is often referred to as the Inland Empire. One of several such Empires, it seems... :D

I believe ozarksnick has simplified life a bit and isn't online as much.

He and his wife have a blog, here (http://2peasnapod.wordpress.com/) that they update from time to time.
