OMG Deb....

That is a beautiful picture! I am sooooo happy for you Kirk. Piece of mind at last. I think its great that the tractor, implements and appliances are included in the sale. Saves you time and money.

I keep looking at the pic. Kinda takes my breath away. Your house looks so cozy. That definately is Deberosa II.

Congratulations woman!!! Its been worth the wait.

Gee thanks everyone! I am excited and I haven't gotten within 3000 miles of the place yet! The realtors took lots of pictures for me and were my eyes.

By the way - this was listed by that United Country site that you see on all the forums, although I found it through a search engine that WRTN provided for me - thank you Randy!!! www.realtor.com works in lots of areas.

This is in SW Virginia up against the Blue Ridge Mountains. Inside the house are two trophy bucks mounted on the wall. Both were shot off the back deck. ;-)

It had only been on the market a few days. I did weeks of research in all price ranges to get an idea of the market in the whole area so when this came up I knew to grab it fast. Others were looking but didn't like the mile long gravel road going into the place. ;-) They took pictures of the road and many of you would chuckle at how tame it is I am sure! Not even a cliff, just basic roller coaster type of drive.

House was built in 1996 - with a full basement so in very good shape. It's very hard to go wrong. All that and a half hour commute to work. Best way I could figure to make lemonade out of lemons.

Oh - and everyone - Deberosa I is up for sale. You can see pictures at deberosahomestead.wordpress.com

Debs in my living existence When God closes a door he has always opened one that is a little bit better. Iv'e always had the feeling that our life is a series of tests. After we do one well we go on to a better one. The place looks great and I hope your job works out well also.

Congratulations! Perfect time of the year to start moving in. First thing you can do is start experimenting with your new garden.
Good luck,

congrats on the new land, the federal land behind you is a definate plus,I have 52 acres that butt up to federal land,as long as they don't sell it I'm golden, good security knowing no one else is building behind you, once again looks really cool!!,I myself would love the long driveway,I am not far enough off the raod, but the road is not heavily traveled so it works ok

Thanks again. No more news on financing - I'll call again today. However Deberosa I goes on the market today - after a few weeks of work it's been turned into the model hobby farm! Now I have to be careful not to mess it up!

I'll keep updating when I can!
