I am putting in a Waterford Stanley Wood cook stove and was wondering if anyone out there has had one. Used one? I need all the information I can get. I was raised by my grandmother which had a wood cook stove at first but took it out after I moved in (at age 10) I am now in my 50's and need to learn this skill all over again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Hi Montanaflat. I don't have one but would love to. Don't know if I would get a lot of use from it though here in lower Bama.

I have a Waterford Stanley but unfortunately I haven't used t yet! It's in storage waiting for my tiny cabin kitchen to be added on to. My husband found it barely used for a great price and bought it for me.
If you go onto Homesteadingtoday.com and do a search there are a couple of people there who have Stanleys. I think that one of the moderators (Melissa) has one.
