Negative. The only scopes I can afford are the Walmart specials.

Have not seen one yet, but there is a detailed review of them in this month's American Rifleman. If they are as good as promised, at the price point mentioned, they will be an excellent scope. I hope they do well.

I think the Redfield scopes are right now, the "best buy" on a decent new scope, out their today. If that was the quality level of scope i was in the market for today, i'd buy the Redfield without hesitation. They are "owned" and built by Leupold, (scopes only, the bino's ect. are imports) and have Leupolds lifetime warr., and Leupold really backs their product.

I'll bet you the prices will climb once they get some of them sold too, as they are now trying to get the name out there again.

Howdy

I would trust any scopes made here in the US by Leupold. I think it's great that Leupold got the Redfield scope name back into the US. It's just too bad they didn't grab onto it back when it was folding up in Denver years ago. Probably so do a lot of former Redfield employees. Kind of hurt my feelings to see one of the oldest and most respected American names in scopes, optics, and rifle sights become just another import item. Hooray for Leupold.OzarksJohn

You can't beat the old USA made Redfields, I've got a 3 X 9 and a 6 X 18.

But, there is a good review of the new ones in the recent FFG magazine, thumbs up!!!
