Not wanting to hijack another thread but I just found this site. You basically plug in whatever food you have on hand and a bunch of recipies come up - you can then add another ingredient and it narrows your search

Thanks Tex for sharing that link. That would be really nice when you just want to use what ever is in the pantry and you dont feel too creative on your own. I have lots of those days.

I do the same with cooks.com. Sometimes the outcome is good sometimes not so good.
