Anyone make their own? I have been buying ours from the alternative health chiropractor.

I have in the past. Used a lab power supply but 3 9v batteries will work. I set the silver about 3/8 - 7/16 in apart and primed the deionised water with a half dozen bits of salt. Takes a long time to start otherwise, you see the little whisps of fog between the silver and 30 min later it is finished. Wayne Green had a booklet on building a generator with some silver, Amazon has the silver - several places want $100 to $500 for machines.

Regular table salt as a catalyst?

My son built a generator, but nobody has tried it yet.

Distilled water is a poor conductor, when the silver gets into the water - no problem.
Some advocate salting the water, but just salting the exact space between the silver will start conduction and then the silver will do the job. I use a clear glass pint and then put it in 2 1/2 pint brown glass bottles. Plastic discolors black.

Thanks. It would be a lot less expensive than buying it at $50 a bottle.

Momma,

How big are the bottles you are buying? I get 4oz bottles and they were $23.00 + shipping the last time I looked.

They are 6oz bottles I get from the Alternative Chiropractor person. I could probably order them online cheaper, but we just buy there when we go in to see them. We see the nutritional counseling assistant more often than the chiropractor.

I think we are just going to buy up a couple of extras rather than trying to make it ourselves. I'm concerned about safety of the product, and know from experience the one they sell is safe.

Momma,
I just double checked my Amazon.com acct. I recently purchased 8 oz colloidal silver for $28.79 w/ Free Super Saver Shipping.

(I am presuming that this is what you are referring to. If not, please enlighten me.)

I'm not sure what you mean exactly. It's just chelated colloidal silver in a little brown plastic bottle that we buy from the place we get our LBA done. I think it is 6oz, it is definitely less than 8. I get my Young Living oils there too and vit/mineral supplements. I don't know where she orders everything from, but she has different brands of products. She did say the chiropractor has his own brand of silver that is cheaper, but she hasn't had any in the last two times we bought it. If it's cheaper on line (no mark-up), then maybe we should look into getting it mail order.
We buy shuzi products there, DE clay, qlink products, etc. They also do health messages like liver messages or foot messages and energy testing as well as live blood analysis, and iridology (sp).

Colloidal Silver should be stored in glass and protected from light. Making it with batteries should run less than $3 a pint. The big expense being 27 volts worth of batteries ( 3 9 volt ). I have not tried a 24 volt transformer but it should work.

we make our own. I keep it in the pantry where it is dark. It sure worked fast when a dog had pinkeye.

Did you put it in the eye or give orally? just curious.

I am diabetic, and use to have constant issues with yeast fungus growing on my feet (athlete's foot). It would sometimes grow under my breasts and in the naval. (that's gross-- sorry) I can't tell you how many scripts from the doctor of creams and alternative oils I tried to use to kill it. The colloidal silver cleared it right up within a few days. I haven't had cracks in between my toes for a long time. I just take one capful in the AM with juice. I know rubbing alcohol would deter it if I applied it a couple of times a day, but it never really went completely away until I tried the silver. It works really well. My husband takes it for lyme disease.

I buy mine for $14.95 @ http://beprepared.com/product.asp?pn=WP%20S800

8 ozs. and works fine. As for making it, I don't trust myself that well.

Now that the fungus is 'under control' adding spices to food that have antifungal properties will usually control things so it does not get active. My opinion is that fungus sets off the insulin resistance that is diagnosed as type II diabetes. Coconut oil and cloves come to mind at the moment.

perhaps oregano too? I have never had anyone suggest that the candida might be the cause of insulin resistance rather than being caused by it via hyperglucose. That is something to research. Acidophilus actually controls it in the blood, but I still had it on the skin in different areas. Lemon essential oil taken by mouth also helps control it in the LBA tests.
Thank you very much for the comment. I will look into it as a cause rather than a symptom of high blood sugar. Most alternative people think DM is actually caused by inflammation. But if you think about it, candida might be the cause of the inflammation. It is an interesting thought. Thank you. I really mean that.

Momma,

I suffer from Candida too and in my research I have read where it is the cause of high blood pressure as well.

The Candida bothers my eyes, at first I thought I was developing allergies and now I believe its the Candida. I use the Colloidal silver as eye drops and what a difference!

My mom has been suffering with eye conditions for years, her eyes tear constantly and by evening her vision is so blurry she can't read- even with her glasses on. She started using the drops twice a day. Morning and night for about a month and has noticed a definite improvement, after many prescriptions have done nothing.

I just ordered some colloidal silver in a gel form and am looking forward to trying it. It was also suggested for use on acne and my 14 year old son would like to try it. I am curious to see how it works.

Dr's make a high profit from treating the effects of fungus but avoid treating the fungus.

The Readers Digest version of ulcers treatment collected my attention, 30 years after there are still instructions to drink (cows) milk and they don't start with H. Pylori tests, but the percentages are changing.

One of the big factors in fungus seems to be vitamin D. Catching rays without sunscreen :) What a country.

I was reading a list of spices that were from the India Medical form and oregano was in there as well as curry.
