Computer Monitor Problem

Hi ya'll,

I have been having problems with my Acer H243H monitor flickering on and off. I thought it was the resolution, so i switched to a lower res, and the same thing happened. The only other thing i can think of is my GeForce 9500 GT graphics card is going out. What are you inputs?

Does the Vid Card have dual monitor plug ins? If so try the other plug in, had a 6800 that had this issue where one plug in went bad.

yeah I am pretty sure that card has 2 jacks for output. Try that first. If that doesn't work try a different cable. If that doesn't work then borrow a monitor & see if it works on that one. At that point you can either see if you can borrow a vid card to test or just buy a new vid card. tigerdirect or newegg.com have lots of good deals. Remember to see if your current card is in a pci or pci express slot. If that doesn't work then its a motherboard problem.
