How to do an acceptable post on how to pump water

I previously did a post about "using water to pump water" and was looking for a discussion about how best to do this and to hook up with others that are doing self contained irrigation systems without outside power. I see the post was moved to blogs and websites which will not generate discussion.

Perhaps I provided too many links to other websites which may have made it look like I was promoting those websites. I was trying to give a background on what I have researched and provide a context for a discussion on what others may have found.

Other than ordering two punps, I have no ownership or direct interest in the linked companies and products.

Being that it was your very first post, I read it as being a possible advertisement for the pump that you are looking to use. We do get this from time to time and I read your post as being a comparison with the other types that you linked to, possibly for promotion. Since you're a member, I moved it to the member's business area based on my conclusion. I used my better judgement instead of deleting it. I wasn't totally sure of your intent.
