Thanks for the welcome :). Somerville Lake has been on the shortlist a few times for our spring break camping/fishing trips but never quite made the 1st place selection. Do yall fish it much?

We are about 8 miles from Nails Creek Park on Lake Somerville. We haven't fished much lately between time constraints and the drought it hasn't worked out. But wanting to go here pretty soon.. DH works in the town of Somerville so he is really close and has been talking about taking his lunch hour at the lake fishing, sounds like a good plan.. LOL

Hey ya'll, We've got a place 25 miles north of Lampassas. Gotta' get some it cleared to prepare for planting vegetables, etc. Have any of you dealt with your county ag agents? How's that going? Texas Al
