Got to paddle this twenty-footer made by Penobscots. Can't get over what a work of art it was. As light as anything short of kevlar or carbon fiber, paddled beautifully, and even smelled good when the cedar ribs got wet. It was practically a religious experience. Hard to believe that they were once made with stone tools.
