Free Onion Plants

Hey all, I thought I`d share something that I stumbled upon. I know that someone else discovered it but, I discovered it on my own. I planned on planted onion root ends to harvest the green tops for drying. One bunch started to get scummy so, I chucked them out in the backyard. About 2 weeks later, I stumbled upon one of the ends. The mower missed it, animals didn`t eat it. I picked it up and it had 3 little onions growing in it. I stuck it in the garden and am expecting to divide those 3 into separate shoots into individual onions, eventually growing into onions themselves.

Very interesting!I've never thought of that.I'll surely try that soon.
