I really would like to get a big barrel of liquid fish and seaweed fertilizer to spray on the pastures. Our poor land needs something. there isone problem, how to spray it. what kind of equipment does it take. we have a tank, and I checked, but what I came up with is a pump that goes with it and a wand , like if you were spraying trees in a big orchard. that can't be it. I was thinking of a smaller version of what farmers use to spray weedkiller, but I have no idea what it is called and have not seen any and the stores like Southern States and TSC have no idea what I mean. does anyone have any experience? any advice will be appreciated.

Sounds like maybe you're looking for an estate sprayer, just a (much) smaller version of what I use that you can put behind an ATV or lawn mower, they usually spray about 6-8' wide. You'll want to get a rough idea of what rate you want to spray it at and what ground speed you're comfortable with so you can pick out the right nozzles to get close to that rate, then calibrate it once you get it home. Most liquid fertilizers I've worked with are in the 5-30 gallon/acre ballpark but I haven't used what you're talking about.
TSC definitely should have one or be able to get it in quick, not hard to believe they didn't know what you were looking for though. TSC's useless here too.
