I do not know if it is good since I have never subscribed to cable television, but I do know that Cody's books are useful. Might be worth a few viewings. I am going to pick it up on DVD later.

Dave Canterbury was on a local tv show last night being interviewed and talked about the show. I had plans to watch it a couple of time but life got in the way.
Dave has a survivial school in southeastern Ohio not far from where I grew up.

The show is ok, my boys really enjoy it.
What I like about it is that each man has a definite difference in the way they handle survival. Sometimes they annoy each other, but they are nice about it and seem to work together pretty good.
Can't say I really learned that much from the show though.
Not a bad show, the hippy walking around barefoot tends to annoy me but that's a minor problem since he does actually seem to know what he's talking about. :)

I really enjoy the show. I've added Cody's books to my wish list for someday. Sometimes I think Cody's ideas get shot down a little too soon but I look forward to watching it.

I have watched this show a few times. It is O.K. but I just can't get passed the fact that Cody knowingly is going to be in a survival situation and he refuses to wear shoes ! This has hindered them countless times. If I were the other guy ( Dave) I would bring a pair of boots for him and tell him to either wear them or go at it on his own...
I still like Survivorman alot better.

If you've watched the show, you'll see that when he feels the need,he does find some form of foot protection.
It's not really an educational show though,it's more two guys comparing notes....
