Rosin up your bow

I just found a site that explains how they make fiddle bow rosin. Amazing that so much of it is done by hand in these times. Since the base product comes from the wood-pulping industry, I wonder how hard it would be to make it from scratch . . . probably very hard!

Ahem....if you're selling something you have to make it look all complicated and not for the do-it-yer-selfer, lol. You can boil tree resin a while or set it out to dry in the sun, but heck it only costs 4 bucks. A full hank of horsehair with all full-length and straight is about 10, that amazes me right there.
