I just found the most curious radio program. It's called the George Gordon Law Hour and Editorial Review. Free streaming archives are located here: http://www.georgegordon.org/radio.html
Evidently, George Gordon successfully argued biblical law in front of the supreme court and is living without credit cards or a social security number. While his broadcasts are heavily steeped in common law and biblical information (as well as plugs for his own law school), his topics seem really geared toward homesteading philosophy. He's also hilarious-- spending several minutes discussing how he has 200 cans of coffee on the shelf, being criticized for 'hoarding', and then turning the tables and accusing Americans of hoarding Princess Cruises and Cars.
Has anyone had any experience with the George Gordon broadcasts or school? I hear he does not take federal reserve notes and will only send you his CDs for gold, silver, or barter items. There's even a list of items he needs posted on his website. He looks like the real deal.
Also, I notice that his broadcasts stopped on May 17, 2008, but there's no reason posted. Does anyone have any information on what's going on there? I even looked for obituaries in Isabella, MO as he was getting up there in age, but haven't found anything.
