I found a good deal on ammo from Military Ballistic Industries at Luckygunner and thought some of you would be interested (if you weren't already aware) take a look and see what you think, they are reloads but excellent for target ammo and to build up a stock just in case. :)

Just thought I'd add in that Brownells is now selling Ammunition, haven't done any price comparisons, but thought it was worth a mention. :)

I just bought:

Remington
20 gauge
2 3/4 length
1390 velocity fps
3/4 oz shot
8 shot rgt 208

20 shells
4.99

I know this is high. Where is a good place to buy what I have described above in BULK. My daughter is in 4-H shotgun club, and wants to practice over the summer shooting skeet.

Thanks!

That's not a real bad price actually, but you can always check your local Wal-Mart they sometimes have good deals on bulk boxes of Winchester skeet loads and they can generally beat most gun store prices just based on their volume. Tell her to save her shells and later if she really gets into shooting she can buy a basic reloader kit, that can be a big money saver in the long run.

Her shooting instructor said she can get a re-loading kit for about 100.00.

Is that high / low? Where's the best place to buy the kit?

Thanks for the info!!

You just have to figure how high speed you want to go on the first kit, Lee has a basic press that you can get for around $45, and then you have to figure your supplies in as well. MidwayUSA.com is where I generally go for reloading items and there are are many others out there that I'm sure the other members will point out as well, but Midway has yet to let me down. I'm not a big shot-shell re-loader myself, but I'll bet we have some lurking in the weeds around here to give some good tips as you progress in the loading. :)

Also check out:

www.usaammo.com. I've not ordered from them yet, but plan to in the future. Their prices seem significantly lower than most distributors I have used.

$259 for 1000 rounds of 9mm 115 grain JHP is a bargain these days.

Not bad, but you can still save a bit here.
