What has Tim Tebow done to deserve all the hate?

I hope Tim proves the haters wrong. I mean here is your all american kid. If I had been Jacksonville I would have drafted him. They made a huge mistake.

What has he done to 'deserve' all the hate?

He's done nothing to 'earn it'.
He sure doesn't deserve it.

But he's getting it because he is an unashamed Believer. He took a Pro Life stand, and made the TV commercial during the superbowl.
He's a great guy, sure, but he's not perfect. He's a Believer, and he made it public, and that paints a big 'hater-bulls eye" on him.

He's a Believer, He is unashamed of it, and that makes the hate-o-meter on people go OFF THE CHARTS. Happens all the time. They hate and hate, and they pick and pick and they simply can't wait till he makes a mistake so they can 'gnash their teeth' and 'rip him to shreds'. They live for this. They enjoy this. They rehearse it in their heads, over an over.....It's so sad that people have to live with so much hate....

I am sure this kid has a circle of friends and family that pray for his strength daily. I hope he does exactly what the Lord has planned for him!!

He walked all over everbody elses favorite teams, and made it look easy. In spite of all the misery he caused in Tennessee, I personally have nothing but the greatest respect for him, and I congratulate him for his success. He is a positive role model, in a day and age when there aren't many of them around. I wish for him all the best, in all his future endeavours.

Most of it is because most of the football people think his mechanics ( wide arm swing- takes to long to get the ball off) are all wrong for the NFL and thus they think he was drafted way higher than he should have been.

Top of that running quarterbacks have not been known to be very sucessfull in the NFL unless they can pass also ( see above). They have alot of stats but have never won a superbowl and that is what it is all about.

His belief don't have a darn thing to do with it.

That said I would like to see him succeed just because most say he won't.
