This shot is a couple of weeks after planting.

Same bed later in July. Now that I look at it though, this isn't from the same year as the photo above.

This bed is no longer here, since the land owner decided to make a mess of the hill behind us.....neither is the fence you see in the pics, but you get the idea.

My patio, the collection of planters has grown considerably since they took out my garden bed.

My yard decorations....all salvaged from the curbside.

I'll post pics of this year's gardening attempts later when things take off more and show some growth.

msta999......these pics,as I said(somehwhere on there) are not from this year..... :D

I just planted this year as well.Right now they are just little sprouts, but will fill in quickly. Not much to take a pic of right now.

I've got tomatoes and peppers, hot peppers, cucumber, squash, green beans, radishes all in planters.

I've also got chives that is trying it's best to jump out of it's planter, and tiny Alpine strawberries that come back every year.Greek oregeno, and will be putting in a few more herbs yet.

I have two empty planters yet,I think I'll try some winter squash and see what happens........ :)

We're attemping to buy a house right now,so hopefully we won't be here to start over again next spring.I'd really love to have some normal garden space and room for fruit trees.

I keep thinking that I should try dwarf fruit trees in containers. You can get those half barrel planters, and even some plastic "tubs" that are bigger. Once you group them together, you'd have a container orchard.
