I am on cloud 27. the first strawberries are ripe and I picked a good gallon of them. Sweet hubby will have to clean them, since I laid block and really pinched a finger, hate to get it wet.
the first radish batch is all gone, started on the second one which is just coming in, lettuce can be picked sparingly, lots of parsley, lambsquarters and green onions.
I just love it. Every bone in my body is aching and I am tired like a dog, but I love it.
No rhubarb :'( and I love rhubarb. it was doing so great last year and I thought I would be swimming in rhubarb. It just folded up from one day to the next and passed away. ??? ??? ??? My past experience with rhubarb was you couldn't get rid of it. what happened?
I hope your gardens are doing well, if you are starting our as a newbie, more power to you :) :) :)

No ripe strawberries here yet, a few wild ones though. I had green onions and lettuce from the garden with bacon grease, so good, make ya take back stuff ya didnt steal. Still drying bunches of herbs, sage, tarragon, oregano, bergamont, and chives. The whole house smells like, well, drying herbs, which is good. Everything in the garden is growing so well it wont be long till we will be so tired of canning. ::)

Its still early spring here in the uk and we had a frost warning last night, so there is very little ready in the garden. I have had a little asparagus from some roots i was given but my asparagus beds are mainly little seedlings.
I do have a little lettuce and salad leaves, that i started early in my greenhouse.
The elder flowers are only just starting to bloom here so elder flower "champagne" is a while away yet.
I hate to tempt providence, but my strawberries are smothered with flowers, promising a good harvest, so i did put down a blanket of horticultural fleece last night.
Best wishes,
April
I just started my strawberry beds this year so I have picked off all the blooms and expecting a bumper crop next year. Onion are going to pulled up today and dried in the sun a while. We are getting squash, english peas, herbs and cucumbers are almost large enough to start picking. It will be a little longer for the snap beans, peas, corn and butterbeans. I have small tomatoes and peppers(several kinds) and the cantaloupe are blooming. I just planted okra last week and it is coming up. We have been having cool nights here but according to the weatherman they may be over and done. Suppose to get hot here now. Imagine that, hot in Alabama!

Nothing yet. AR is famous for unexpected late frost' in the Ozarks. All plants are looking great, tho. Blackberries have flowered and have berries on them. Tomatoes are also flowering. Onions are peeking up from the soil and Garlic is looking healthy. Eggplant and Zukes took a hit at the last frost but survived and look very promising. Pepper plants look like they are growing very slowly. Maybe we need more heat? Green Beans got planted late, too, but look good.
I'm ready for a tomato sandwich on toasted wheat bread with Miracle Whip and lots of salt!!! ;D

chives. yummm!!!! adding them to everything. kids are munching on them. They are on of the only early thing we can get here in Alberta. Unless you have a greenhouse.... which we do not. .... yet.

North-Central PA isn't real conducive to early harvests for rookies like me, but I've got some early peas and my first ever success with radishes on this property.
Tomorrow I'll be laying down cardboard and mulch for the garden, getting ready for a busy Memorial Day weekend.

Leeks, greens, nettles, basil, sorrel, and herbs so far. I skipped peas - maybe next year I will try them again.
I planted a group of Lovage this year as a replacement for celery.
