Well I did it..finally got tired of the price of milk...I bought a goat. She is a four year old nubian bred to kid in April. The breeder had all her records. She had triplets last year and produced two quarts of milk a day. Isn't she a beauty??

I've never had goat milk, but all the talk has me thinking maybe I should try it?

Anyone know where you can buy goat milk "over the counter"?

Congrats! We're looking at nubians too - seems like the way to go. How's her personality?

Pat

You might try Wild Oats or Whole Foods stores, the have organic and what my hubby and I call "hippie" foods/

Haven't had a taste either, but most of the world drinks it, and the folks that own goats swear by it. Some of it depends on the breed - Nubians being the best.

Happy for ya Pat.
We kept Toggenbergs when I was a brat.
OTC goats milk tastes as much like goats milk as OTC cows milk tastes like farm fresh.
Heck of a sentence I know, but hope you get the drift.
