Hi from another Texan

Hi, I'm JoAnna, and DH and I live in Texas. Noticed there were some other Texans here. I've been lurking here off and on for a very long time and thought I should register. Maybe I have a few things to offer.

I'm a proud wife, momma, and Official Keeper of the Birds. I love gardening and doing all the homesteading activities I can. I'm an experienced horticulturalist and have completed the Master Gardener program. I enjoy sewing and knitting, and refurbishing furniture, bikes, old wood stoves, and whatever else strikes me as worthwhile at the time.

We are debt free and have started construction on our retirement home a few counties away. It'll be a long time before it's finished because we are building it debt free, but at least it's something to occupy our free time, when we have any, that is.
