OK, I take alot of grief for crusing the sales and picking up all kinds of stuff when available but today it paid off in spades. ;-)
I had a flooded field and had to move a whole bunch of water from one end to the low end. So NOW that Pumpa-a-Lot that I got for 90% off at the hardware store this summer came in real handy! It's a really cool thing, hook a hose to it and it has an 8 ft hose out the other end. It's got an open flat bottom. Turn on the hose and for every gallon that goes in 6 gallons go out!
Of course 8 ft didn't cut it so I got one of the 8 ft PVC pipes that I got for a buck each, stuck it into a piece of 4 inch drain pipe I had and then it into a chunk of 6 inch drain pipe that I had. Now the water is flowing 30 ft down the hill. ;-) Oh, had to prop it up with old milk crates and old dog houses to get the right angles. ;-)
If I get in a better mood I might take a picture of my handywork!
