USDA Pamphlets

I read an old article about the U.S. Department of Agriculture giving out free pamphlets and stuff on usefull topics. Drying fruit, raising livestock, etc. Do they still do this? Where can I get them?

Might try county ext agent. I know they have some fact sheets.

You might have luck with a google search finding the wanted info online to print out?

County Extension agent has an abundance, there are sometimes branches of the USDA in farming communities - tiny to be sure, but where there is produce to be examined, I have found them.

The only problem I have found is that much of their printed material is hopelessly generalized (written for the basically, completely unknowledgable) and out of date.
