I got a call the other day about those windows that I posted about a while back. They don't come with the frames but are tempered 4x8 sheets. They start taking out this coming monday. They weigh close to 200 lbs apiece. Any good suggestions how I will haul them on my 16 ft trailer and then I have to get them off the trailer. I think I'm starting to get a headache.

You can't lay them flat. Usually an "A" frame of 2x4 works good, lean the same number glass pieces on each side.

Flat, dealing with Plate Glass is a job for pros with the proper tools. I kid
you not!

Plate glass that weighs 200 lbs REQUIRES safe proper tools and the proper
carry racks to avoid shattering into a zillion pieces.

From your post I get the hint that these window are being taken out of
a business somewhere and you must be salvaging them. I tried that
once at a local bank. Once they got the windows out , and had an employee
get back from the doctor over a 9 inch cut, it was quite clear the me that
these plate glass windows were simply to dangerous for joe average
to handle and transport.

If you attempt to move or handle these windows without proper equipment
or enough help you're courting serious injury. Please be very careful 'cause
these windows will win any argument you might have with them. *:-/

Oh yes, Plate glass gets brittle as it ages over the years. BE CAREFULL!

I have rented the holders (suction cups with handles ) and will enlist at least another person to help

Another tip for you Flat.

Wear the heaviest clothing over your entire body (leather if you have it)
to protect your arms, legs and torso. If the glass gets away from you
let it shatter but don't let it cut you, mate. That could be VERY bad.

You will be amazed at how sharp the squared glass edges are! :o :o :o
