Got an *Aladdin beehive lamp this morning at a auction, it is marked modc aladdin ind bras on the knob. seems to be all there except the mantle piece, if this one needs one don't know yet if it does or not. I have been trying to find a site that list some dollar values etc on them without much luck yet, still hunting. dont yet know year it was made either. Anyway figured I would share the find and maybe someone could point me the right directions. Thanks Rick

If you can take pictures of it you can submit it to WhatsItWorthToYou.com and have it appraised for under $10.

Hey KYHOME....I've got a friend who buys storage units when people have defaulted on them. He has two huge buildings full of "stuff." Went there yesterday and got a mattock, a hoe, 2 steel splitting wedges, a cats paw, a 12" cast iron skillet, a flour sifter, a wooden rolling pin AND a true-to-God switch-blade knife. Gave him 25 dollars for it all. this guy has everything imaginable! Everything! Whenever I need something, I always call him first before heading to the local hardware/bigbox store!

Neopat, we all need to find a friend like that. Hum wonder how far a drive away his place might be from Ky? I never have tried buying anything at one of those type auctions. thanks for the input. Rick

When my inlaws were alive they ran a storage unit and your spot on. My father-in-law was moving an old oak desk and the center drawer fell out and landed upside down. Taped to the bottom was an old 32 cal darringer
