My job sight just took apart a bunch of plywood cement forms. They mostly measure 1/2 inch thick CDX 2x8. They just had a screw or three and a couple of nails. I was able to get two 16 foot trailer loads. I'm in the process of taking the nails out now. I just might have enough to finish the walls and roof of my under ground house. SCORE one for the old fart.

I take it you mean finish the "inside", as around here CDX won't last long if it's near or on the ground...

Nice freebie though!

I was thinking CDX was exterior plywood, anyhow the stuff I got was exterior plywood and in underground building the wood does not touch any ground.

Old post but yes, CDX is exterior plywood. Grade C on one side, D on the other and put together with exterior glue.
