My son's right thigh is injured.
Pray that if he should not play, that he does not play, and that he doesn't further damage or injure himself.

I HATE this part. If he was 10 *I* would have the final say. No would be no, pa-dow, end of story.
He is 19...

He is concerned. It hurts a lot. It's his first "sport injury" ever.
The doc said "rest it".
The coach says "I need you".

PLEASE, please pray the Lord will speak clearly to my boy, that the boy will make God's Decision, and that no further damage is done.
Please.
Thank you.

It's very hard when kids grow up because you can no longer protect them. And at that age, they feel immortal, and don't think about long term injuries or potential future problems.
I pray God moves his heart to do what is right for his body.

I stand in agreement in prayer for your son, Laura (give'n yas a sof hug).

If you ask my cubbies they will tell you they remember me always told them and tell them even now...

"We live and die by the choices we make... Make good choices"

Father, thank You for this young man and for him having a momma who serves You. Lord, please help this son make a man's decision, by Thy Holy Spirit.. please give him direction that he may be whole and well. Thank You, Father.

Laura,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and DS. I pray that he will hear the Lord speak to him during this time of indecision and that he will do the Lord's will for what is best for him. There will be other games that he can play in if he listens to the docs now and rests that thigh. I pray for strength for you as you watch him grow up and mature into a young man who has to make his own decisions and that you will continue to stand my him in whatever they may be. DH and I have five young adults ages 18-20 between us, so I can speak from experience when I say, I know how you feel.

Blessings, firegirl
