Yes, apparently caring for our children, having fun and taking them camping and making sure we keep them safe, healthy and fed properly is a crime. OH MY GOSH! Someone pinch me! I can't be awake, right?

Lordy, makes me almost nervous to post anything about anything, especially since I blog about about my thoughts and feeling on different things too. Scary.

I still want to know how all of this came about. Grouchy neighbor? The daughter perhaps saying something about her mother and then word spread in the school and things got blown out of proportion? Something stinks about this whole affair. Sad thing is-even though CPS said there was no basis for the allegations, they will still keep a file on her. She will still have this hanging over her head.

Momma is right-she needs a lawyer.

Did you read her entire rant?

She has a theory as to the identity of the accuser.

Well I watched the short videos at the end and it all comes down to this IMO.... watch what you put on the internet, how much info you let out there for others to know about you, how much of your preps that your children know about... certain things they need to know about, but others they do not until the time comes to use them (for young children). It seems (maybe) this woman was involved in a lot of "public eye" for the lawsuit actions she was involved in, ect.... sometimes living in the quiet and staying to yourself is the best bet if you don't want people asking questions, but that's just my 2 cents!

This is some scary stuff. CPS can tie you up for a long time on unsubstantiated allegations and make you spend a lot of time and money jumping through hoops that are uncalled for.

Yep there is a case of a female teacher with a child who had a friend sleep over. Long story short sex abuse charges arose against the teacher and CPS removed the womans child, the school fired her and the State said she had to register as a sex offendor. Oh and all this prior to the case going to court. Yes all this happened even before a judge even heard 1 word.

Personally if you wanna talk to my kids I will be present. Not looking through a window but in the chair next to them.

Best thing I can suggest is what this person did. Know the law and get everything in writting, taped and have witnesses.

I'd say teh law firm you spoke to was onteh other side of teh game. They blew you in to discredit you. I've found out the last few years if people you deal with will not cooperate and follow the rules or laws they start to discredit you. This is done to build a case againt you sow ehn you finally get your day in court this is thrown in your face.

In some states, the children of divorced parents become wards of the state giving them more power in our lives and more say in the raising of our children. I'm not sure if this woman was divorced or not but if she was she/her children would have been on their list. CPS, IMHO is a monster who destroys more than it ever protected.

they take time to investigate these people but not where abuse is really evident. How many times have you see it on the news about a child that died that was supposed to be checked on by CPS? Too many times. They don't have time to check on those they really should because they are too busy abusing their power harassing good people.

They were supposed to be overseeing my step-grandson and he had moved from one state to another without their knowledge. His mother accussed my husband and us of kidnapping our granddaughter and the Sheriff came to remove her from us even though she was a non-custodial parent. They were going to arrest us if we didn't turn her over to the parent that had abandoned her and her brother! My son was deployed and we have power of attorney over the child. Long story short I called CPS to talk to the kids and it was when they came that they notified us she had an abuse case open in another state and was not supposed to have left the state. She had been in jail for abusing our poor little step-grandson that she would not let us see after the divorce. CPS said they would have to give her the child unless my son could fly home and take custody of the child within 72 hours. I kid you not. We got him home and he stayed for 24 hours and had to return to Germany with his daughter the next day. It was all very traumatic for our dgd. He then had to leave his daughter with friends in Germany while he returned to Qatar. CPS said his military custody papers were not valid in the State of Texas that's why he had to take her back to Germany and then could leave her with anyone he wanted. We later found out when we got a lawyer they were all wrong. His papers were valid in the State of Texas as long he is in the Military. He had since then gotten the custodial papers filed in Texas so he can come and visit us without worry of her trying the same stuff. We still don't know where she is with our dsgs.

Sorry for the rant this one hit close to home for me........
