Yesterday I went "Mall-Hoppin" ....which consists of me visiting a few thrift stores, the flea market and then the Goodwill.
I picked up a STL Cardinals baseball book that was published in 1981 called "REDBIRDS"
Books were on sale, so I figured I'd buy it and slap it on ebay....and maybe make a few bucks -ya, know!
I got up to the cash register and I opened the front cover and the book is autographed by STAN MUSIAL, JACK BUCK AND BOB BROEG.....
The guy behind me in line nearly had a heart attack! All of the Goodwill staff rushed over in awe and the lady behind the counter rang up my total and said "75 cents please!"
I hit the jackpot!
