I say we drop Vandy and South Carolina and add Florida State and Louisville. With adding Florida State this would give the SEC East better football and they also have a decent basketball program.

Adding Louisville would give us another plus on the basketball side plus they have had some really good football teams. Last year they stole Florida's defensive coordinator as head coach.

Plus it would give us 2 great rivalries in conference UK and UL and Florida and Florida State.
What do you think?

Why would you cut a team (SC) that just won their division of the SEC?

Because nobody likes Steve Spurrier except Steve Spurrier. He was lucky this year because Florida had a off season. PLUS South Carolina has never won a National Championship in anything. Louisville has won 2 National Championships in mens basketball and Florida State has won 3 National Championships in football.

They need to elimanate the BCS and go back to simple math that we all can understand for team rankings. There is tons and tons of money involved in the system and its costs a ton to make a move.

I dislike Spurrier as well, I just think it would be hard to expell a team from the conference based on the stated criteria.

South Carolina belongs in the ACC.

What we need in division 1 football is a playoff system. They have been using a playoff system in div 2 for years. Its not rocket science. But the bowl people would never let that happen. Too much money involved.

Vanderbilt should've been gone a long time ago. Bring back Georgia Tech

Yeah I agree about Vandy. Georgia Tech was a member of the SEC until 1975 or something. I could go with that. But we need to drop Vandy. They hurt us in basketball and football. Take last years NCAA Basketball tournament, Vandy has its best team in quite some time. And they lose in the first game to unranked Murray State?

Vandy is a drain on the rest of the conference. Not to mention the fact that the place is turning into one huge freak show. Their football stadium is ok, but small. Not big enough to hold all the UT nation, when the real home team comes to town. If I remember correctly, Ga Tech left the SEC in the mid-60's. Something to do with a conflict between Bobby Dodd, and Bear Bryant. Since both of them are gone, it's time for Tech to come home. Tech for S Carolina would be a good exchange. Who cares where Vandy goes, as long as they just go.

Vandy would be best suited for the Big East, SC used to be in the ACC if I remember correctly, so I am sure they'd be welcomed if such a scenario were to ever occur.
