I get invited to a lot of farms and visit with a lot of farmers. I have heard from several the position of something like "it is easier to do the work yourself than to have an intern do it" followed by a rant of how no farmer (usually something about a "right mind" goes here) could get more benefit than hassle from interns.

I try to express something about farms I've visited that are having great luck with interns, but I never seem to get my message across. So I created this video to fill a need to express myself.

Here are two farmers that have had great success. In fact, with the first farmer, his interns pay him to be on his farm, and while they are only committed to stay for three months, most stay two years or more.

The point I wish to make is that while some farmers experience frustration with farm interns, here are at least two farmers that have great success.
