Barter Group

Would it be possible to get a forum on here as to where people are needing something done and are willing to trade something in return. The old barter system. I know a lot of country folk do that, so it seems there would be a forum on here for that. I am always looking for people willing to barter out skills or goods.

that sounds really good, I don't see though how it could work, we live all over the Nation from Maine to Washington State.

That sounds like an interesting idea - would it be local though, or stuff you could send to someone (a.k.a. exchanging)?

Many areas have a local service through the Internet called Freecycle. It's basicaly a yahoo group where local people place their items they either want to get rid of or are looking for on a bulletin board. The main rule is that no money is exchanged.

Craigslist is good for this sort of thing, too. I've used it on a few occasions to buy, sell and trade.
