I just wanted to further answer Dave's question on Home Remedies. You had said Ginger picked up a bottle of Colloidal Silver.

I think it is an excellent product. I bought my own colloidal silver generator. It has paid for itself over and over. Colloidal silver is very expensive when bought in a small bottle.

I can make a quart at a time. You need to use distilled water when making this. That way it is pure of contaminates.

I have a silver puppy colloidal Silver generator. It comes with the silver rods and instructions. All you need is a small mouth quart jar and distilled water. Don't add anything else to the water.

It doesn't turn you blue, it won't poison you, we have used one for several years.

When we start feeling something coming on we start taking the colloidal silver.

Also something else that is very beneficial is a nettie pot. You can buy those at walmart with the salt for about 15.00 they work very well for sinus and different allergies.

I also put Colloidal Silver in dogs water you can put it in your ears and eyes. It is just all around a good home remedy or what ever you wish to call it.

It has gotten a bum rapp over the years. That is because people added stuff to the water or didn't use distilled water.

I have used it for years. I know you can make your own with 9 volt batteries and clips , but I personally felt better just buying the silver puppy generator.

As I said before it has more than paid for it's self over and over.

Thank you for popping this in a new thread. I really like the idea of investing in a generator instead of buying it premade at a premium. Good thought about using it on animals - could be a good thing just to add in small quantities to their drinking water perhaps?

I just started taking it tonight so we will see how it does over the next week or two.

Just a note of caution. When talking about any home remedy besure and add some sort of a foot note for those that hear how great something is. people tend to get lazy about following directions. All of our bodies are different and can react differntly with different home remedies. Let people know what may be good for you may not be good for them. It may save a life

I looked at the CS generators on Amazon. They seem to be just two silver electrodes that go in distilled water, with a small DC power source for electrolysis. Is there more to them than that?

You can actually just take a DC adapter, split the line, and use black tape or clamps to connect silver wire or rods. The bigger the adapter, the faster they generate. You don't need all the other fancy parts. Just be sure to use .999silver to prevent agryia, and distilled water for the same reason.

I've heard you can use an old printer DC adapter to do gold, but don't know if it is true. It just has to be a bigger power source for gold than for silver. Colloidal gold is used for arthritis.

That sounds reasonable. I was thinking of using some sterling silver, which is 92.5% silver, and 7.5% another alloy metal, usually copper. Is the copper harmful in low doses?

I seriously wonder if this whole business isn't one of those, "If you think it's working, it's working" things. Years back, I don't know if any of you all are old enough to remember, but the big thing was "lignite activated" water or what they called "Willard Water" There was even a piece on 60 minutes about its benefits years and years ago.

I would question anything that would add metals to what I'm taking in. Heavy metals can lodge in our brains and many think that is what leads to alzheimers. I for one would not get too het up over this. Good clean water like the Good Lord intended for us to drink is nature's champaign. Reckon if that was good enough for Adam, it ought to do for us, after all, he lived to be over 900 years old :D .

I make our silver. For us it works.
Grumble, Do Not Use 925 it's not pure enough. I use 999 silver rounds. It's what I had, But it is 999 silver for sure.

About 15 years ago my adrenal gland quit working and they gave me silver shots of some sort - it was like magic just how fast and how well it worked! Are the shots the same type thing as the Colloidal Silver?

Thanks, Sissy! If I could be sure the 7.5% was pure copper, it would probably be ok. I read a bit about colloidal Cu, and some use it in a similar was as the Ag.

But I'm gonna take your advice and use some .999 instead.

Silver has been used as an antibacterial agent since the Roman times. People would throw a silver coin in a water barrel as a disinfectant. If I had a cistern, I'd do the same.

don't blame you for being sceptical, but I figure if it works on critters it does the job. We have a tomcat someone dropped off up at our mailbox. Well, first he had bad eyes, just oozing pus. I put in a drop of C silver a couple of days and it cleared like magic. Last summer he came down with cat leukemia. BIL was here and did not think he would live, he was really, really really bad. Squirted silver right in his mouth, what can I tell you , he rapidly got better and is still around. I have to give credit to silver. I have not used it on myself as we always use H2O2 when I feel something coming on and it has worked for me. I have used the silver on pinkeye in a human , too, and it worked, very short order.
