He had some very serious surgery to fix a vein in his neck the goes up to the back of his brain. It had become damaged due to something he did at work (Fireman). It was badly damaged enough that the surgeon did a bypass. (Like a heart bypass, only they took a piece of vein from his leg to bypass the damaged part in his neck). Very serious surgery. He felt much better after the surgery healed, but then some of the old symptoms came back. Today they told him that the newly repaired vein had collapsed and was not repairable. The companion vein on the other side is trying to take up the slack. A failure there is REAL BAD. Please mention him in your prayers. In addition to being a very good man, he is the only family I have left.
