This evening another idea for saving gas and cutting transportation costs popped into my mind. That makes 38 in all on my website. Take a look. I hope some of these ideas help you minimize your cost of transportation.

Look under the navigation button Save Gas.
The idea I had this evening involves changing work hours, compressing them, so you don't commute but 4 days a week. This is already done in some lines of work, but for other reasons.
It seems that the cost of fuel should be reason enough to propose such a thing at work. I think it is an especially good idea for someone that is negotiating their terms of employment now, or for someone who soon will.
We should all act in our own interest, and a 4 day work week instead of a 5 day workweek cuts out 20% of the travel related costs of having a job. I just can't see this as a bad idea - cut costs and have 3 day weekends every week.
This particular idea is found under Save Gas nav button, and then the link "Gas savers stay put".
Good fortune to you all,
Clair
