Wanted to see if anyone had information about living in Chile? We are considering moving to this area of the world and would like to see if anyone on this forum has any information they would like to share?

Thanks

Earthquakes from the Andes Mountains come to mind....unstable government...3rd world politics....police state?

Just my thoughts.......

I have done some research. Earthquakes yep, Chile has the current fastest growing economy, very stable goverment, 3rd world probably yes. Police state? it don't sound like it. Is it left leaning sure not as bad as alot of other places though.

It does have decent gun rights compared to some countries. Good hunting and plenty of oppurtunties for homesteading.

I was really looking for someone who had first hand experiences or information.

Other than the Andes mountians what you describe is sounding more and more like the USA.

Would suspect they have everything you could want.
Pacific coast, or mountains if you choose.

What is the language of "daily living" there ?
Can't remember which countries are Spanish and
which are Portuguese speaking.

Good luck
