they are a bit pricy, no doubt. but so handy. Especially when you do not have much strength in your hands. We had to go shopping today, I took one along to show to Dan at the Amish Country store in Cub Run and he was really impressed. Now that I have mine and paid too much, I guess he may stock them and sell them 2 bucks cheaper. Got a sack of wheat and found that 50 lbs of oatmeal are 27 bucks, about 54 cents per pound. I stocked up again on flaxseed and green pumpkin seed. If you are getting a bit long in the tooth, as we are, green pumpkin is a God send, it has a beneficial effect on the bladder that is noticable. Well, got to unpack, put the cheese in the freezer. That is what I like ,one of the daughters cuts you as much as you want, sliced or chunk, and adjusts the thickness to how you like it. I have her cut my cheese in half pound increments and I put the packets in the freezer. Good cheese and cheaper than Walmart.

I love my gamma lids. I can't imagine prying a bucket open every time we need something. Knowing me, the lids would soon not get resealed.

I hope your Amish store starts carrying them. Our Amish and Mennonite stores have the best prices around.

Wish I had an Amish store within driving distance. I get jealous when I read about other people's shopping trips to one.

We got our gamma lids for Pet Food Direct and they were 75 dollars + tax for a dozen of them. That price included shipping. I love mine!!!!!
