I got these bags from the electric shop. They held some kind of testing device. They are made out of thick leather and measure 10 wide, 12 deep, and 5 inches thick with aluminum liners. There is a extra floppy pocket on the outside. When I attach some leather between them they will be my new motor scooters saddle bags.

Those look like cases for late '60s early '70s Ohm Meters.
I can't tell by the picture but, is the front perforated with a bunch of little holes? Is there a fancy Z (for Zenith) anywhere?

No Z anywhere and they were empty when I got them out of the IR bin. and no holes in the front. I do know it's saddle grade leather though.
